So, last Thursday night, Lauren, Danny and I decided to go to Ruby Tuesdays in Douglasville for dinner. (We wanted the salad bar.) We get there, have a nice dinner, including dessert, and just as we're finishing up, the waitress comes to our table and quietly asks that we please exit the restaurant as there is smoke coming into the restaurant. The entire restaurant ended up outside on the sidewalk, including the staff. In the picture below you can see the cooks, who all moved their cars away from the restaurant and then stood farther away than anyone else.
We never saw any flames but the guy on the roof said that they thought it might have been a light balist that caught fire.
We all stood around on the sidewalk until the waitress came out and said we could come back in.
The answer is "NO", they didn't comp our meal. We had to pay before we left.
