WOW!

WOW! This blogging thing is really cool. I've heard from 2 people that I don't usually get to hear from! I can't wait to see how it goes! Thanks for the comments! I know you're out there.
I've really enjoyed having some time off for the Holidays. I could really get used to this! (I'm not holding my breath! I don't think I'll get to retire until I'm 102!) Everyone have a wonderful New Year's Eve and be careful! It's a zoo out there!

Ready for the New Year

Well, Christmas is officially over at the Underwood house. Today we took down all our decorations except the ones outside (they were too wet). It was a little sad but I'm looking forward to the new year. You never really know what the new year will hold. Sometimes it's a little scary but God has never let me down and I know that He will continue to be there no matter what comes along.

Christmas Craziness

Christmas was wonderful! So full of fun, laughter, presents, food, family and love! So why do I feel a little glad it's over? Well, I guess sometimes it seems nice to just go back to normal without all the rushing around and busyness. Anyhow, I LOVE Christmas and look forward to it every year and also look forward to getting back to normal every year. I hope each and every one of you had a wonderful, blessed, fun and happy Christmas! We did at the Underwood household!

Quiet, Calm and Peaceful

We had such a quiet and fun Christmas Eve at our house tonight. A far cry from our ususal wild bunch. We had to move our celebration around this year because of my work schedule. My mom and dad, Danny's dad, Jonathan, Anne Marie and myself ate homemade vegetable soup and then played the game "Cranium" (Very interesting). Then my mom tried to teach us how to play "Phase 10". Anne Marie got fed up cause she couldn't get past the first phase so the game didn't last too long. After opening a few gifts with our parents everyone headed home. Nice, calm, peaceful and different. I'm sure all of this will change when the grandkids come along but for now, a very "Silent Night".

Christmas Eve Already???

I can't believe it's already Christmas Eve. Seems like we've been getting ready all year and then all of a sudden it's here. We've had a wonderful Christmas season so far. Our BIG family get-together was Sunday night. (28 people). The kids were off the wall and the noise level was pretty darn high. We had a great time eating lasagna (well, at least the adults ate) and playing the nasty Santa game. The kids got a million presents and I'm sure didn't wind down (from the excitement and sugar) until well into the night. I'll post a few pictures if I can figure out how. Danny and I wish for all of you a very Merry and Blessed Christmas!
